Pittwater House appoints Head of Grammar

Pittwater House has appointed a new Head of Grammar, Mr Mark Trollope.  Mr Trollope will start his new role in Term 1, 2014.

Mr Trollope comes to Pittwater House with 20 years of experience from both Australia and the UK, with the past decade being spent at Knox Grammar. During his career he has held diverse positions such as Director of Boarding, Head of PDHPE, Class Tutor and House Master.

He has completed a Master of Educational Leadership and is currently undertaking his second masters in Applied Positive Psychology. This will be very complementary to the Pittwater House School's focus on 'Positive Psychology' which aims to heighten students' optimism and resilience as well as increase individual happiness and academic success.

In addition to his outstanding academic record, Mr Trollope is a proven team-oriented and collaborative leader, with superior communication skills and great problem-solving and strategic planning skills. Mr Trollope is also a Northern Beaches resident.
