Surf Lifesaving

Congratulations on Jayke Rees on his two gold medals at the Australian Surf Lifesaving Championships in April.  He won in the Board Rescue and the Surf Team events and was a key part of the victorious overall Newport U17 trophy winning team.

AICES Swimming

Last month, 34 students from Pittwater House competed in the AICES Swimming championships at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre.  This competition was a first for many of our Year 7 swimmers who competed extremely well on the day with Tyra Hugill coming 2nd overall in the 12 years girls age champions.  Overall Pittwater House came 4th out of 46 schools competing on the day with Pittwater House Girls coming 3rd and Pittwater House Boys coming 7th.   Following on from this success Billy Brooks, Pascalle Casey, Tyra Hugill, Andrew Mahn and Martin Wensing will be competing at the CIS swimming,

Water Polo

Pascalle Casey has continued with her success in water polo being selected to the NSW Schoolgirls' Water Polo team.  The team will be competing at the National Championships this month and the Australian Schoolgirls' Team will be announced at the conclusion of the championships.

Music

Congratulations to the Big Band for achieving 1st place in the Northern Beaches Eisteddfod Instrumental Groups School Stage Bands and Jazz Ensembles Section.

After a very busy two weeks of ANZAC commitments this is a very significant achievement and well deserved.
