Gifted and Talented Teacher Appointed 2016

Pittwater House welcomes Janet Lovell to Pittwater House School as the Gifted and Talented Co-ordinator for all students (K-12).

The new role will work with students and staff across all levels of the School with an emphasis on gifted education for enrichment and acceleration.

Principal at Pittwater House School, Dr Nancy Hillier, said she was looking forward to Ms Lovell joining the School in 2016 to help maximise the educational experience of our students.

Ms Lovell will not only be working directly with students but she will also work strategically with staff to assist with the provision for students within the classroom.

She brings with her more than 20 years of experience as a teacher, eight years of which has focused on learning enhancement.

Ms Lovell joins us from the University of New South Wales where she has been tutoring students on gifted education. She has also, simultaneously, been teaching at Kambala girls’ school in Rose Bay.   She brings with her a Masters of Education (Gifted Education) and Masters Educational Leadership both from the University of New South Wales.
