Isaac Smith (Year 8) attended a recent Surf Lifesaving New South Wales Talented Athlete Training Program. Forty five athletes from the state were selected to attend and only five athletes were chosen from the Northern Beaches. The athletes underwent an intensive program of training, testing, diet, psychology and information sessions. We look forward to Isaac achieving his goals in the surf this season.

James Pinnington (Year 5) recently competed in the first round of the Manly Junior State Sailing Championships at Lake Illawarra. James was competing in the novice division for children skippering for their first season. Janes came 2nd in a very close first race and 6th in the second race in very challenging conditions. The next round is in November and we wish James the very best of luck for the challenge.

Gianni Stensness (Year 8) spent the recently represented the U13 NSW Metro State Football team which competed at Coffs Harbour. Gianni's team won the tournament and he was then selected into the All Stars team (an Australian U13 team) by a panel of senior football officials, all with Socceroos experience. This is an outstanding achievement and we will continue to follow Gianni's progress closely as he moves in to the older age groups.
