outdoor education

Junior School Program
In 2012 Pittwater House School introduced a new outdoor education program to support the development of our students. The program is run by the Outdoor Education Group, which is an independent not-for-profit organisation, that was founded in 1984 and focuses on outdoor experiential learning.
The program supports and reinforces the School's pastoral curriculum in the most practical of settings. It is structured so students work together in small, professionally facilitated groups, and deals directly with concepts such as leadership, inclusiveness and the value of working towards a common goal. Each program is hosted in a semi-remote location within Australia - to remove the participants from 'normal' life.
