The majority of students enrolled at Pittwater House come from the Northern Beaches peninsula of Sydney. The enrolment consists of Australian residents and a number of international students coming from many nations across the other five continents. NBEC and UFY students are predominantly international.

The NBEC is on the Pittwater House campus in Collaroy on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Collaroy, an exclusive residential area, boasts some of Sydney's best beaches and parkland and is renowned for its clean air, convenient bus transport and wonderful lifestyle. Pittwater House School and the NBEC are 23 km to the north of the CBD and are located in one of the safest suburbs in Sydney. They are in easy reach of local shopping malls, municipal libraries and sports facilities.

Living in Homestay is very popular and accommodation is available in family homes in the local area. This is provided through an agency which has 200 quality, insured and inspected family homes.
The Pittwater House Schools Ltd delivers the Foundation Year Certificate (PTW) programme under licence agreement from the University of New South Wales.
