The Northern Beaches English College (NBEC) was established by The Pittwater House Schools in 2005 to fulfil the need to provide high quality English Language Training for international students entering either Secondary School or the University Foundation pathway.
The College is undergoing its candidacy year for accreditation by the National English Accreditation Scheme (NEAS). The programmes taught are known as English Language Intensive Course for Overseas Students or ELICOS.
The Pittwater House Schools Ltd delivers the Foundation Year Certificate (PTW) programme under licence agreement from the University of New South Wales.
